I bought one similar but with roller saddles. Not sure what the metal is, maybe zinc, tone sounds "tinny". The neck pickup didn't work and the engraving was flawed. Bridge pickup sounded ok. Not liking the sound, I bought a Fender plate and saddles.

I bought the bridge/ control plate combo.
Besides looking and feeling really cheap, the bridge did not fit a standard Tele body.
I didn't want to do that much modification to the body so I only used the control plate.

wonderful form, but without specific engine info you'll not have a clue about function.

I got a loaded control plate off of Amazon about a year ago, because I found one that was roughly the same price as (or less than) just the control plate itself.

It went in an Esquire parts build, so if the pickup selector switch was no good, that wasn't a problem. If the pots were no good, I was ready to replace them, and even figured I could use the fluted shaft knobs on something else, too.

That particular guitar has a hotter Tele bridge pickup in it, so the stock 500K pots turned out to work perfectly. And IMO pots are a wear item anyway, so if/when they fail, I'll replace them.
