Wired up a semi hollow with two humbuckers of different brands. The middle position sounds out of phase. I’m 99% sure I wired everything properly, is it possible that different brands might be out of phase with one another? Neck is a DiMarzio, bridge is a GFS.

I hate working on the semi hollow. It seems everything has to go in three times before you’re done. Pulled out the bridge controls to reverse the phase on a pickup. Broke a ground wire, now everything has to come out. Flipped the wires on the bridge volume control, fixed the broken ground wire, tested and everything is spot on. Put everything back in, but from all the monkeying around my solid wires are slightly out of shape so it’s not as quick and easy as round one. Plug it in and I broke the output wire. Out it all comes again...
