In dire need of some help here. This is my very first post, hopefully of many. Got a Mid-Boost MIM Ash Tele a while ago, never popped the hood to see whats underneath other than knowing it wasnt the stock vintage noiseless setup. The bridge pickup (Duncan Lil59) I hate, hence me popping her open to replace her. What I discovered in the neck was a suprise. As the owner of the PV64s, I thought this was that, until it read 6.5 vs 7.4-7.5 my PV64 does. Anyone have any clue what this is?
Plain enamel, grey back, b/w cloth wire....reads 6.5k. Sounds absolutely glorious and woody, its my favorite Tele neck pup and I cant ID it.
