Anodized gold, perhaps?
Sorry about that three pickup monstrosity
I've seen it all and I can't think of one... white 3ply and black 1ply
I like the old firestripe pg's if you can find someone who could make it?
Tortoiseshell most definitely!!!!
I also like the plain 5 hole white on my very white blonde Tele
I also made a matt black one, but didn't like it as much
On the other hand I have seen some folk who have put a red torty one onto a Classic Vibe 50s and it looks really nice
Haven't helped a bit really, have I?
On black or white(or white-blonde) guitars , the mint-green odes a great job that isn't so drastic, but is very satisfying,,,,on my black tele I went through, pearloid, wbw, copper, black on black, but ultimately came to the mint-green which is killer...on a blonde, I imagine the same search being undertaken, and I would do a mint -green on that as well..I don't have a camera to post pictures, but a quick search will show lots of examples
Only white and black, and only 1 ply - I'm keeping it classic.
I like Fender brand Mint Green on a whole passel of different body colors.
But not on blonde bodies and especially not on a "yellow" blonde such as circa 1973. Lord, Have Mercy!!
As far as what colors I would in fact suggest, I would have to know, white blonde or yellow blonde? With parchment and black being one's primary choices.
Right on....I couldn't state it any better myself!!!
I put a Warmoth "brown shell" (seen it called "baltic amber" elsewhere) pickguard on mine.
