Black is classic and reserved, aged pearloid is a bit more flashy and stands out. I voted for the pearloid 'cause that's probably what I'd pick if it were mine.

I like 'em both, far as looks go.

But the white MOTO wins hands-down from the perspective that you're making the bass your own. That is far more important than what anyone else thinks about it--including the goober typing this reply.

I like them both; both seem to go with that pretty walnut to my eye. That’s a good-looking bass in either configuration.
