Hi guys, I have a handbuilt strat copy from Australia. Its Brazilian mahogany, with Blackwood inserts in the neck/headstock, its about 30 years old.

I have had it around 6 months, and there is a couple of things I dont like.
    The Black Pickguard/Pickup Covers/Knobs
The EMG's (will put in handwound late50's/early60's strat pickups)

Any thoughts on the visual side of things? scratchplate colour/knobs/pickup covers?

    Ideas?

I think it looks great 'as is'.

As is, but with white knobs would look neat.

I'm not a fan of black pickguards on red bodies lately. I'd go with a 3 ply off-white parchment pickguard.

I think creme would look nice on that color with RW.

I like the black, but I think a parchment guard would look good too, or a nice tort guard. I think parchment plastics would look nice either way.

Parchment and Mint Green would look good too

My preference would be Parchment, Vintage Pearl, then Mint.

Ended up going with vintage noiseless. Pretty happy coz it's a unique tone. Aged cream knobs and tip look great.
