What looks best for a White White Strat with Rosewood fretboard? Is it Parchment guard with aged knobs/covers or Mint green with aged knobs/covers?
    Thanks

A friend of mine, back in the early sixties, had a white lefty Strat with an aged looking pickguard.

    Always loved that look.

I like the mint. Parchment is too close to the color of the body.

Single ply white, or a nice quality real celluloid tort with a polished wide bevel.

Darker Olympic White body with parchment or white pickguard works.

From the pictures you posted, I like the parchment. Sometimes photos don't do justice to what it looks like in person though.

Putting an aged (mint) pickguard on a bright, shiny as-new guitar just don't look right to me. Red Tortoise on bright white is a good look with white knobs/pickup covers. I'd stay away from the brown tortoise and cream on a bright white guitar.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
I just ordered the Parchment pickguard with the aged knobs. My Artic white Body is very white and shinny so i think the contrast will be slight with this look.
