Anytime I see a relic job like this, I figure it's gotta be fabricated (unless someone left it out in the rain)

Lots of folks turn their noses up at the artificial relicing, but I really dig this kinda look.

Pleased to admit that I know next to nothing about what kind of guitar that is - it looks fantastic, and if it plays and sounds to your liking, nice score!!

how does it sound? Looks comfy and broken in, like faded jeans - I dig the look -

maybe it's the pic - but it looks too new - too white - to fit with the rest of the guitar

    .

Does the relic work continue under the pickguard? Maybe run it without the pickguard installed.

Yes, lots of common points. But before ordering remember that it is a funny business. You get what you paid for, but you don’t alway get exactly what is on the picture. o_O

Oh yeah wouldn't order my self but would certainly like to see one in the flesh. For the price of basically a body could be fun to mod I guess. Some of the sg s look good if like you say that is what you get. Any one on the forum got any experience of these?

Not sure what I want to do with it yet. I may look to sale/trade it after I can get it playing a little better.

It's cool looking. Maybe too many frets, and I would also replace the PG, perhaps for tortoise or at least relic parchment.

That thing looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. (Or perhaps it was made FROM the ugly tree.

i dig it. If it plays well and sounds good to you, that's all that matters. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (but ugly is to the bone)... That guitar has a lot of bone.

Head stock shape looks off. Reminds me of a modded '80s Tokai head stock where someone tried to sand/reshape the point away.

Might want to be sure your Tetanus vaccination is up to date before you play it..

That would look awesome with a weathered galvanized sheet metal PG!

Not that far off from this actual relic from Mr. Benoit from Louisiana.
