I traded a guitar that I haven't been playing for this, 2018 Ibanez Premium AZ242F in Tequilla Sunrise Gradation.
The store owner said the guy who traded it in (on an acoustic) won it in a contest. It looks new, still has plastic on the pickups and rear control plate covers.
I think its beautiful! It's real light, has a contoured neck pocket so easy upper fret access.
It plays great, stainless frets, roasted maple neck, and this isn't the typical Ibanez flat thin shredder neck which I hate, it feels like a Strat / Tele neck.
Seymour Duncan Hyperion alnico humbuckers, wired with 5 way switch and mini toggle, so 10 different tones, humbucking, single coil and others.
    Should be fun and versatile.

I know it's not a Tele or a Fender but it is a NICE axe! And I have been playing Strats and Teles most of my life, so why not try something different for a change?

Flamed Maple top American Basswood body
Roasted Maple fretboard Black dot inlay
    24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets
    Gotoh® T1502 tremolo bridge

    Graph Tech® nut

Enjoy it without guilt! Ibanez make great guitars. I have a Jet King II, which is an offset, double-humbucker, 25.5" scale bolt-on, and so a little "different" and really fun. My best friend has one of the more "shreddy" Ibanez guitars, and it's a fine one, too.

    VERY nice guitar.

Nothing wrong with that guitar at all.

I'm sure that guitar can cover A LOT of tonal ground.

    Enjoy!!!

You got it from Geoff at rEvolve. Saw it in his CL ad this morning. Score.

Congrats, Ibanez consistently make great necks. Cool that it's roasted and at a thickness you like too. Enjoy.

Yeah I traded in a PRS S2 that I also got from Revolve , I think this will cover a lot more ground than the PRS. I liked the picture , went by at lunch and played it, it looks better in person than the picture even.

I'm digging this guitar, I polished the frets some tonight and will restring it tomorrow, it had 10s on it , I will try 9s or 9.5s, the 10s were a little stiff.

I found this video that demos the 10 different tones, it's the more expensive model but same pickups and switching system.

And in this video Phillip Knight compares the MIJ Prestige to the Premier version, the Premier is prettier and a LOT cheaper! and sounds pretty much the same to me.

That is a seriously sweet guitar. I’ve had my eye on them on and off, myself. And although I’m a big PRS fan, I think you got a higher quality guitar than the S2 there, and definitely more versatile. If that was a straight trade you did real well.
