Tuner > Compressor > Overdrive
Not a good choice, right now I'm not using any of those choices.
Roger Mayer RM58, or the Mayer 615 Limiter.
If not one of those either the API Tranzformer GT/EQ, or Effectrode Leveling Amp/limiter
Next spot would be OD.. Low/Medium Gain?? High Gain??
Low/Medium Gain = Mayer 4644 Drive. Id get this one for Medium Drive
Metropoulos Supa Boost. More of a Huge Boost pedal/Preamp-EQ.
5 Knob Butler Tube Drive..Effectrode Fire Bottle...Castledine Colorsound Drive.. Pick One..
MOOG MF103 6-12 Stage Phaser. ( Have to buy Used )
No use for a phaser. If only 3 I could pick then:
2. Delay (FlashbackIIx4)
If I've already got reverb, tremelo, and delay I don't need three more spots. Maybe just an overdrive. Does a tuner count?
tuner- boss od1- lovepedal 5e3 I don't really use much else ever and most of the time just plug in and play
I picked overdrive, distortion, phaser. I do use a phaser and I used to stack overdrives and distortions. I want to like compressors, but I just don’t get along with them.
If I had to pick three now, it would be clean boost, delay, reverb.
My dream rig would be:
tuner, tremolo, phaser, clean boost (GE7) into the front of a JCM800 50 w 1x12 combo. Then solo boost (another GE7), volume pedal, programable reverbs and delays in the effects loop.
I'd take a wah over a phaser.
I picked the first option but I'd replace the Phaser if I could...….
We cover It Don't Come Easy by Ringo Starr and I think it's the only song where I use a phaser (for one short part). I have a mini MXR Phaser and I often look down and think I'm wasting real estate. Just my opinion (not worth much).
That board also needs a "stoned soundman compensator" pedal.
I've never really been keen on phases. It would have to be something else.
I think I’m going with Compressor, Overdrive, Distortion.
The rest of my stuff has been pretty static. I posted this just cause these last 3 are the ones I’ve been switching back and forth.
The other stuff I have includes a tuner, noise gate, channel switch, delay, Reverb, tremolo.
The phaser is a Phase 95. I think if I don’t keep it on I won’t sell it.
I have a Wah as well but I don’t actually put it on the board it seems easier to keep it on the floor. I’m not good at using a wah though.
Not my ideal line up either... Od , Fuzz, Phasor.
All old school varieties btw... Tube Screamer, Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face, MXR Phase 45 (script)
Tuner > Overdrive > Slapback tape delay
I don't use phasers, fuzz, or compressors, so I guess I'll uh.... leave the room.
BOOM PEDAL BOARD DONE!
Ummm...tuner, OD, delay?
Well, I think in signal chain order would go like this... 1>2>3
a. since the chain starts with the first pedal I'm gonna say this pedal will be "number one". (Besides it hates buffers before it).
b. next I'm going with "number two" for the second.
c. third is a toss up between "Thy shall not count two", and, "neither shall thy count four" so, shoot me, but yeah, I'm picking "number three".
A little beer made these choices pretty easy.
Wah, Overdrive, Delay
I own a phaser. I didn't vote. I dont own a compressor. I like them, but only want one, and haven't sprang for it.
Delay and Chorus are both far more useful than the phaser. I feel like a Doctor Q is slightly (very slight) more handy than the phaser.
I vote secret option:
F. Fuzz->more fuzz->chorus........
