Cornfed did a great job, similar to what I would want. I have a thinline MP with P90s, which is pretty good but it just made me want more. Then I went and listened to the TV Jones P90s and it is full blown lust. It is on my list, but likely a couple of years from now, and carved and rear routed looks good with those soft soapbars.

Here are a couple I built. One with a mahogany/maple hollow body, the other in ash, with a belly-carve for comfort and weight relief...

I'm making something similar. How did you make the narrow hole for the selector switch?

Almost looks like a guard, but that's how dark the blonde has gotten since '69. Guard was removed because bridge pup shorts out from being warped. The only way I could get it to work was by removing the guard, which will remain off as long as the pup works because I dig late 60's pups.

Okay you asked for it. My only bastard tele. I like to keep my teles all original. This one's a top loader, Squier body and a fender classic neck. The strings get real slinky I think it's because of the top loader is just much easier to play. I might be putting a Gibson or Epiphone pick up in it soon just to be different. I do have a Fender chrome humbucker pickup out of the custom or a thin line that I might put in.
