The thought of a cat by my guitars gives me anxiety. However, I am not a cat person. I just don't like them.

I like dogs, but I don't ever want another one.

I can tolerate our goldfish, but crikey he can be noisy.

AND GIT OFF A' MY LAWN! :D

That’s Teo. He’s a wicked thug. Probably figuring what direction best to push the LP Studio so the head snaps clean off.

Hasn’t actually caused any damage yet. Likes to curl up inside open guitar cases. He got to fooling around with the stop strap once and pulled the lid closed on himself. He’s a bit more cautious now.

I have other shots of them sleeping in guitar cases but can’t find them just now
Sorry for the crappy pix but it’s memories I cherish since both cats are no longer with us

    This is Peneloap (not Penelope).
She threw that big clumsy Les Paul out of her bed.
    Tough kitty!

Siamese are beyond cool. I used to own two and I miss them, but I didn't deserve them.

Cats are great pets. We have two. But, be careful about their territorial instincts around your gear, especially open cases. Here's why I got my Squier Standard Strat for $27. His cat had 'marked' it, ruining the case and parts of the guitar. Fortunately, that thick poly finish and shielding paint protected the wood.
