    Hi all,

Here is my live take on “Pennsylvania 65000” (Glenn Miller - The Andrews Sisters version).
I do the 3 voices in double stops, but I realize I need a much cleaner sound to tackle this type of song,
as I am not happy with my guitar clipping.

Hope you like it despite the shortcomings.

    Merry Christmas,

    Abel

Very nice playing Abel, sounds good. If I may ask, what are on you fretting hand finger tips?

That was a great rendition! Thanks for sharing - you sound just like Charlie Christian but with a whammy bar (Brian Setzer would be proud).

    Glad you liked it folks.

    Alan,
Since there is a lot of sliding on this song, I kind of protected my weaker fingers with a tape.

    Blessings,
    Abel

I can't imagine how you made that work, with tape on your finger tips. Very cool.

Nice. As to the distortion, think Junior Barnard......

That was amazing. I played Big Band music in my high school jazz band. Your playing would have fit right in!!
