I want this, but with light up red digital numbers, like the standard hollywood bomb timer. Stages can be dark. Backlights don't stay on. Running on 9v would be a bonus.

lesson learned from a few decades of teaching: if you look at your watch everybody in the class will get restless & clock out of the class whether it's time or not. same is true if they see you glancing at a wall clock. my solution was to take my watch off & set it face-side-up on the table so they couldn't tell if I was looking at my watch or at the papers in front of me.
