I just don’t do well with anything on my wrists…watches, bracelets, handcuffs, anything
Merle Travis had a special mount for his watch on the back of his guitar, so he could see what time it is without the audience seeing him look at his watch.

If it doesn't have a footswitch, then it was never meant to be on a board!😸

1590BB-sized clock, stop-watch, alarm — keep track of your sets and break-times.

I turn my iPhone on the stopwatch shortly before I start, and that lets me know when I’m at an hour, etc.

I don’t put the phone on the pedalboard usually, but next to or behind the amp, which usually up on a table or chair.

Lately, I’m not even putting the pedalboard on the ground, just on a table or whatever next to the amp.

I'll just use my hand to punch the buttons.

Somewhere along the way I stopped being able to easily read the tiny writing on the pedals without hunching over, so it’s easier sometimes.

Followup…got the ones Peegoo mentioned way back in today. Smallish, but should work. Only niggles: the screw holding the battery compartment shut is so small that it will be near impossible for me to change it when necessary without a microscope and surgical tools.

But, at 3 bucks each, I think I can afford to chunk it at the fiddle player when either of them quit at in opportune times.

Was available in other-coloured LED readouts.

Glad you've found the one right for you, battery compartment-screw and fiddler be damned.

Why not add a dB meter.

And while you're at it a compass so you don't get lost backstage, and thermometer and hydrometer to measure sweat level so you know when to change shirts.

lesson learned from a few decades of teaching: if you look at your watch everybody in the class will get restless & clock out of the class whether it's time or not. same is true if they see you glancing at a wall clock. my solution was to take my watch off & set it face-side-up on the table so they couldn't tell if I was looking at my watch or at the papers in front of me.

Somewhere I read that Merle Travis had some kind of hook or mount for his watch on the back of his guitar, so the audience couldn't see him looking at it.
