Any thoughts on this modeling amp?

Found one in mint condition close by for a good price with the Sampero Pro foot controller, I had the Fender Mustang IV v2 and sold it because I did not like the tones or patches, I saw this video from TTK, the Tone King and thought maybe I should reconsider eventually getting a modeler.

Peavey Vypyr Pro owner said the reason the amp is so cheap is because the input jack fell inside the amp and needs to be put back in place.

is this something that can be easily fixed or should this be a deal breaker?

    Thank you

    Michael

Depends on what kind of jack and extent of the damage to the PC board. It could be simply the case of not enough solder from the flow solder machine (had a transtube Rage 158 w/ this issue) however, unless you're handy with a soldering iron, or are ready to spend $ taking it to a tech, I would suggest passing on it.

Likely PCB mounted jacks so probably board damage as well.
Might be fixable but I'd pass.

This is completely contrary to everything I have heard about peavey amps by folks I know who play them.

I'm the proud owner of a Vypyr 30 which I found in mint conditions years ago. Although I prefer clean tones, to use the loop effect this year I got a Sanpera pedalboard (that costed more than what I'd paied for the amp...). My experience Is more than positive: amp is reliable and solid, pots still do not scratch... My 0.2 opinioni on a smaller sized little brother
