I have a Peavey TNT 150 that has a hum that seems to have gradually developed, so now is getting pretty audible. I have checked all the various circuit grounds, but still it hums. Anyone got a similar (or the same) Peavey amp and cured it ?
    Mike.

I replaced the P/S caps in a friends Bandit that cured his noise.
I have a TNT chassis that I got in trade that also hums, but I have never taken the time to check it out.

New caps fixed the hum in my '86 Special 130. Had a shop do it, so I have no further info...

Have your power supply caps checked out. That's what they are there for, to remove the 60 cycle hum from the power supply When they get old they start to lose their capacitance and the power supply starts to develop hum
