Hey everyone! Iv'e been reading this forum for years, but just recently joined. Very excited! Tuesday I stopped into a pawn shop on Charlotte Ave on the way to the laundromat. Saw this pretty Tele behind the counter and was intrigued with the humbucker in the bridge, so after some haggling I took it home. $600 is a steal for a made in the USA tele. Did some research on the serial number and it is a run that Guitar Center had commissioned a few years ago and nobody liked them for some reason. Fulled around with it for half the day before I realized that there was a button in the knob that splits the coil! Swapped the pickguard out and the attention to detail underneath was impressive, the whole cavity was covered in foil or whatever that is. I'm just tickled with it and made a quick video to show anyone else who wasn't familiar with it how neat it is!

Thanks!

Congrats on the new Tele, and welcome to the forums. It's great to have more folks from Nashville on here.
