And now I am looking for a Korean 245 used. I did not expect the lower end PRs to be so nice.

After being so very pleasantly surprised by the Korean se one that I found, I found a used Korean se 245. it’s on the way by mail. I hope for happy trails for that parcel. Postage is crazy in Germany right now....

    245's are great guitars, too!
I had a Bernie Marsden SE that I really regret selling!

If you follow Robben Ford on Instagram you may have seen that he’s been trying some PRS guitars. I’ve seen at least two videos with two different PRSs. I don’t think I’ve heard him say how well he likes them, but it’s an interesting twist for bluesman who has usually had a preference for vintage guitars.

Been a looong time since I posted on this thread! I've always had at least one PRS on hand since 1998.

    Currently have these three:

    2016 McCarty 594

2019 S2 Standard 24 with Thornbuckers and custom pickguard

2007 SE One, heavily modded with a Brent Mason Treble pickup among other things

I recently put a MannMade 2300 bridge with the brass saddles on my SC245 from 2009. Better note separation on chords but the essential character remains intact tonally with a little more clarity but not brightness. I’m using Schroeder locking bridge studs on that guitar, sounds better to me than the Mann studs or PRS stock.

Very good improvement to a guitar I already loved.

NGD for me- basic Indonesian Mark Tremonti SE. This guitar is amazing. The only thing I might change is the nut, but it’s ok. Fit and finish is like a $2k guitar. Just needed to tighten the truss rod a bit and the setup was perfect. Got it from Sweetwater. B567098E-7744-4530-8FEE-FFBC12DCB33D.jpeg

Scored this '09 SE Custom Semi-Hollow from a local OfferUp listing couple weeks back. There's not a mark on the thing, and it was priced so low that after selling the set of Benedetto pickups (pictured) the former owner had installed, the guitar ended up having cost me a grand total of, no joke, thirty bucks.
