Sad that he's gone. Paul is the one who started "Talk about you last gig here" over on band wagon, a fun and long running thread. Sure hope his next gig and gear are perfect!

    RIP Paul.

It's very interesting how this is a community where you get to know people and have concerns for them as if it were a more conventional community. Paul's ways for sure had him among those who were not just people typing stuff.

I do not know about his family situation but my best wishes go out to those who were close to him.

His struggles are over and the world is now sadder because of it. RIP. I always enjoyed his thoughts, muse and contributions here.

I am just a pilgrim on this road, boys
This ain't never been my home
Sometimes the road was rocky 'long the way, boys
But I was never travelin' alone

We'll meet again on some bright highway
Songs to sing and tales to tell
But I am just a pilgrim on this road, boys
Until I see you fare thee well

Ain't no need to cry for me, boys
Somewhere down the road you'll understand
'Cause I expect to touch his hand, boys
Put a word in for you if I can

Geez, I'm terribly sorry for The TDPRI and Paul's Friends and Family too. Paul was always The Voice of Reason and with a great sense of humor. I remember what George Harrison and Ringo Starr said: That once You're here You're always here, maybe not in the physical realm but absolutely in The Spiritual Realm for real.

    RIP Paul.

Wasn't he the founder of TDPRI and then he sold it a few years ago?

I'd only met him once, I don't get up to Fort Collins too often. The TDPRI won't be the same without him.

No, but Paul In Colorado was on the original, pre-TDPRI Telecaster Discussion Page as well as the current incarnation.

    Awww...bummer...
He said if he ever got back to Alaska we'd get together and play some hippie country....I know he had some health issues...you never expect that they'll get the best of you....

    So long Paul!..
