stopped by my tech's today and just happened to have my amp and the paul c schematic in hand. i'm a putz with circuits, but he did the mod in 10 minutes.
i know some say this is a better mod for Princetons, but for my purposes, it's great for a Tweed Deluxe. i have to go from jazzy tones to Santana to country-rock twang, and the definition this mod has given Tweedy makes it like a whole new amp.
everybody's mileage varies, but this mod cleans mine right up (no fizz, no fart-out) without losing the vintage dirt.
