Oh no!!!!! So sorry to hear this. Little Feat has not been active for a few years, but this is still tough to hear for us fans. :(

    RIP Paul Barrere
Wonderful singing on Old Folks Boogie, Skin It Back....
Plus the guy had that great, funky, greasy Fender+phase shifter tone

Well, just this year they had a major 50th anniversary tour. Saw them here in Asheville. Great night of Little Feat tunes.

    Godspeed, Paul.

I’ve been a fan of his and the band for quite some time. Luckily I first saw them live 30 years ago and had continued to see them up until 2 weeks ago at the Vic minus Paul. I also had seen a handful of Paul and Fred shows and spoken to Paul a few times. Paul will be missed. I had always enjoyed his playing. RIP

Oh yeah, a sad loss and I'm sorry I seldom mention Little Feat as one of my bigger influences.

Wow, I just saw Little Feat this week. They announced that Paul B was not feeling well, Fred Tackett took his place. It was fun to see those great songs played live, but they seemed a little subdued, now we know why. RIP PB, say hi to Lowell George for us.

I knew Lowell and got to know Paul a little bit. He was a super nice guy and was a true musician at heart.
You could hear it and feel it when he played.
First Lowell then Richie and now Paul.....
Thanks for all the music brother. I will play Skin In Back in your memory tonight.

From the above-posted show, I had no idea he co-wrote (with Billy Payne) this tune. You can sense some Bolivian influence onstage as well but hey - it was 1977 ! Phenomenal live group

Just listened to some Feat on the way home from a gig.

Glad I got to see Little Feat in '77 with Lowell.

RIP Paul, some great music you've shared with us.
