most ( if not all ) international airports are 4th amendment free zones.

i have not reviewed the laws recently, and i am not a lawyer, but i believe that it is still valid to verbally request an "opt out" of the nude image scanners (brand name: rapiscan)

i have done this a number of times now. as long as you are clear and polite to the TSA officer, there are no problems. YMMV of course, and we all have friends who are "cop magnets." so use your best judgment. lately, my flight schedules have been somewhat cramped for time, so i just go through the normal process. if someone likes what they see, then i'm happy to brighten up their day.

and for what it is worth, the friendliest and most professional TSA agents i have ever encountered were at the Newark, NJ airport.

With the exception of point #2, that sounds like a great way to kill the fun at a gig.

• Shoes and Shirts must be worn at all times.
• ID required to drink, State issued IDs and Passports are the only acceptable form of ID, no temporary, school, expired, foreign, or work IDs.
• No Stage-diving, No Crowd-Surfing.
• No Professional Cameras or Recording Devices. “unless otherwise posted”
• No Spiked jewelry or sharp objects.
• No outside food or Drink.
• No Fighting, or Lawbreaking.
• In accordance with new regulations put into place by the City Of we are now required to provide a seperate section for the consumption of alcohol after 10PM

 

The TSA is a money pit, someone is making a lot of money running this agency that only gives the illusion of increased safety.
