I have a four wire humbcuker (hot rails) and had to swap the black and green lead since I’m wiring it up with fender pickups. Green lead to switch , black to ground.
I’ve decided to wire it up in parallel but am a bit confused. When I wire it up using the recommended parallel wiring ( red and black to switch and the rest to ground) it works fine but it out of phase with the middle so the 4 position sound weak. When I swap the black and green wires as I would with series wiring I get no output.

Any ideas?

For a phase reversal with series/parallel wiring, you have to swap red/white (in this case) as well as swapping green/black (in this case).

Just dawned on me... should I just switch the two pairs? Red and black to ground. Green and white to switch? That would make sense.
