All I can think of is You''ll never find
Who is Lou Rawls, and who stole his soul?
Johnny Rawls brother maybe
I hurried up and bought the 2019 Gibson Les Paul Junior as soon as it was available.
I was afraid they weren’t going to make many of them.
That’s what happened in 2018.
Does that count?
Sounds like a prudent precaution to me.
In my youth, I worked at the phone company as a summer job... in the frame, long lines, special services... our department secretary (maybe 40 or 45) was talking to me one day about her family and she said, 'oh my cousin, you know, he Lou Rawls illigiterate son' 'illigiterate?' I said 'oh you know the boy is his but he don't claim him.'
everytime I hear his name, I think of that..
Dead End Street.
Rawls had a wonderful voice.
"An ice cold glass of BUUUUD-weiser..."
I did the same thing and I love it.

You win today's Internets!!!
Illigiterate = he won't claim that he can't read?
I got mine

Lou Rawls I think, was the first professional singer I ever saw. I was maybe 5 or so, we were staying at a big hotel, and he was performing there. Back then, you could sneak in to 'most anything. I was awestruck. That probably set me on a path toward making music
well stocked here!
I've always loved this song and thought it was even cooler when I learned it was Rawls on the call and response
