Hey guys. Been working on this build for a few weeks now.

Ash body with maple neck. Undecided on pickups at the moment [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Massive thanks goes to Tvvoodoo for the paisley file. I had my brother print it on Vinyl and wrapped it this arvo. The seams are so good that I'm probably not even going to spray the burst, I'll just go straight to clear coat.

Looks great but DO THE BURST, it will take it to the next level of eye candy, trust me.

    Congrats, awesome build.

That looks awesome! Having had a MIJ PP (2017), it had way too wide burst. Didn’t like that. Your’s is much better, IMO leave it as it is!

Looks great!! Did glue it to the wood? If so, what type glue did you use?

    Fantastic!

Do you know the dimensions of the long, narrow pieces used on the sides?

How difficult was it it join the pieces at the round-overs?

Looking really good - Major props for your edge matching skills, and the pattern match on the edge artwork!
could you detail how you matched the edges Vaxia?

Thanks alot. Side pieces were about 45mm. There's a join in the centre at the butt and the neck pocket as the vinyl sheet was t long enough.

Relatively straight forward. There is a seam where they join but the clear coat will level everything.

Looks great! Even though with the nice golden burst it would really look beautiful...

That’s a great job dude - well done. I’m on the fence about the burst.

To be honest, I didn't even really attempt to match it. It just seem to work out pretty good lol.

Lol yea it would look good.
If I could guarantee myself a good job with the burst, id probably do it. But I'm really not confident that I wouldn't screw it up.

I've tried hand bursting with bombs, a couple different methods. Don't go there. HVLP touch-up gun or don't bother in my opinion.
