I’m pretty sure that €5,290.00 is way too much (for my budget and anyone sane with money to burn)!!

Someone will come along and comment about the craftsmanship and expertise gone into that, but it’s not for me.

Was it created by starting with a pink paisley, slapping some gold ‘stuff’ all over it and then scraping some gold stuff off to reveal the paisley?

Each to their own but my imaginary spare €5,290.00 is staying firmly in my imaginary spare money wallet!

    Peter

It’s like seeing a woman’s underwear through holes in her pants.

Gold Tele, nice. Paisley Tele, nice. But the bastard love child of both looks similar to what's left on the pavement after 15 pints and a curry!

I don’t know whether that statement tells us more about you or the women you date!

Please don't get me wrong - beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I've a few ' interesting' guitars myself. But that one really did fall from the very top of the ugly tree, AND hit every single branch on the way down!

Remember - I’m a surfer and beat to a different drummer, lol. Appreciate all the input but I’m moving forward and will post pics when it’s done.

Read the OP and you see he refers to his own partscaster.

You'll certainly end up with something different. What are you going to use as a starting point? Can I make a small suggestion? I think one of the reasons I dislike the original is the use of a clear pickguard. Ok, I understand the nod to the original Paisley finish. A white 3 ply would really improve it to me. But, your call. Please start a thread when you start this project. I'll be following with interest.

Pick guards are ezpz to change, thanks for the idea! I’ll compare my build to the Fender one. It will slightly different as I plan to use a thinline body with F hole.
