I found this two weeks ago and was overjoyed. The information lives on!

Legitimate question: what's the point of having 5 different delay pedals? Are they all set differently for different songs? Do they get stacked? Never used a delay so I don't know jack.

One can use 2 delays at a time. Some cool ambient stuff can be made that way. I would guess the main reason for 5 would be different sounding or for different types of delay.

He has them set for different songs, I believe. The Aqua Puss is usually his slapback, at least on the early stuff, then the Empress for really long delays, the Maxon sounds really cool and different, etc.

Even you you dint like country, you gotta admit that this man is talented. Throw a lot of distortion on the tele and you gotta a heavy metal guitarist.

I've always enjoyed how transparent Brad has been with his gear and settings. Even with the transparency only he can still sound like him.

Then a guy like EVH feels like he has to lie about everything.
