Painting Over 2K Clear

I want to change the finish on a guitar I made from natural finish to a color on the top only. I finished it with 2K Omni urethane and am wondering if the clear needs to be striped off then primed and painted or just rough up clear before appyling a black base coat...?
I want to change a pot location so painting over the hole repair seems the way to go...just not sure aboutthe re finish prep. Thanks.

Not sketchy at all.

If the two-part film is clearly and absolutely cured, you can paint over it with anything.

Much will depend upon how thick the film is.
