Scored a B5 Bigsby vibramate* kit on fleabay for my Esquire-lawsuit Weta

*no extra holes in the gee-tar

Took a whole hour to fit and intonate. Pretty impressed that there are no buzzes/rattles

Vibramate makes a very pretty bridge. Let's you use Graphtech saddles with a Bigsby because the Trem is grounded. Also, the Vibramate dual-access saddles or a do-it-yourself version allow you to tweak intonation from the front of the saddle. I use a jewelers saw to make a screwdriver slot at the end of the saddle screws. Vibramate wants $15 for the slotted screws and $47 for the dual access saddles.

G'day mate, just wondering how your Bigsby is.From what I have read it seems that you didn't have to shim the neck on your tele. Is that correct and if correct why as it seems everybody else has had to do it? Cheers

Nope - didn't use any shim. Maybe with some guitars you might want to shim the neck pocket, but I didn't this time.
