I'm always intrigued by the concept of creating marketing hype for a pedal and charging way too much for it. I guess there's a sucker born every minute, but some of the things I've seen are just baffling. Exhibit A: http://rochester.craigslist.org/msg/4874966697.html $400 for a TS9? Just because it's vintage? At the end of the day it's still a TS9 and probably indiscernable from a modern TS9 and not as good or reliable as a newer TS808 circuit. What level of cork sniffers are really going to pull that pedal off your board to read the label on the bottom? Exhibit B: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boss-DM-2-A...764?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2a4a5acb8c Really? I know it's a vintage "Black Label" Boss pedal, but it's still a Boss analog Delay pedal. What can that thing do that you can't accomplish with a Carbon Copy? I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here but felt compelled to post this, as the CL find just floored me. The world we live in... Carry on!
