I feel kind of bad that Mike left out cargo shorts. I have some shirts with writing, I have a mustache and goatee, I'm somewhat but maybe not too fat. As my mountain man brother in law says, you're just the size you are, that's me. I feel though that I'm representing the Alabama chief wahoo blanket butt tribe pretty well when I sport around town in my essential garb of cargoes. If you're going to be disdainful, at least cover all the bases, for Pete's sake. (who's Pete anyway?)

Ha! I can't grow decent beard, and I have just discovered how comfy and amazing suspenders(US)/braces(UK) are!
    Black t-shirt? Nope, buttons!

I’ve had a mustache for the vast majority of life since age 17...(short times in which it got removed due to irreconcilable errors during trims)

However, I recently regrew my gray goatee to express my individuality... just like everyone else.

Oh, yeah...I wear a lot of black now, not to be Goth but it goes with everything

Goatees used to be mostly reserved for bikers. Same with black t shirts.
This was before Bikers got their own fashion section in the clothes store.
    Designer labels etc.
I think Sean Connery might have brought the goatee into the mainstream for the office workers, dentists etc.

Lift weights you say???? Would you consider yourself somewhat of a bodybuilder? What is your stance on elevators???

;)I'm just messing around, we had a classic thread years ago about a bodybuilder and I am just childish enough to make a connection:lol:

:oops:Sorry for dredging up the bodybuilder thread.....but some body had to do it.

I got into black T’s when I saw Billy Jack, as an impressionable 14 year old.
    Silly, but true.
I’ve never ridden a motorcycle in my life, never wanted to.
I have a blessedly full beard to (over)compensate for my shiny pate.
I don’t do goatee’s because my mustache and, uh “soul” patch are still dark, unlike the rest of my white/grey hair/beard.
    It looks weird, IMO.

My goatee region of my short beard is a weird mix of grey too, I just go with it.
I like plain black v neck t shirts with no print etc on them. Cheap, easy to wash, don't show stains etc.

That is a totally valid source of inspiration IMO.

I started wearing black because Johnny Cash, and then later everyone started doing it

It's kinda a weird look for a ginger, anyway

Around my neck of the woods besides the goatee, t-shirt and haircut, he also has his big Harley, a ball cap, sunglasses (usually mirrored) and a chick on the back of the bike at least 30 pounds overweight dressed up in her biker chick gear they bought at the local Harley boutique.

One of the guys I work with is the poster child for this look. I brought this same conversation up to him a couple of months ago since we're both over 50. After I described the above I said, "Wait! That's you!"

    Kinda sheepishly he replied "Yup..."

    It's a good thing I'm perfect! :)

New to the block.... 60ish, clean shaven on the face and ears, do my own hair cuts with a sheep cropper for wool from Walmart. T-Shirts and Keen's sandals in leather with cheap blue jeans and 15 to $25 printed T-Shirts are the norm, or cargo shorts with plenty of pockets. At 6'5" I dwarf my '99 MIM Tele Standard.

Clean shaven for one reason... when I've grown a goatee or a beard, the first 6 weeks kinda look like crop failure growing on my face. That, it's a good food and crumb and jam collector, and my cat likes rubbing against my face, and that's a great way to get the itchy's or cat fur tickling my nose, especially shedding season.

It's a good thing Fender now makes and offers Tele's with a huge belly cut on the back, my Midnight Wine version gets in the way of drinking good microbrew beer and practicing my guitar.

LOL I wish. I hadn't played that bass in a while so when I heard a song that stuck in my head I thought I need to learn both bass & rhythm to it.

I have my doubts that spock could actually grow facial hair. That goatee looks glued on. Maybe they should offer those in the store next to the dark printed t-shirts?
They could just offer a bundle deal on Stick on goatee, dark printed t-shirt and cargo shorts/ chino's.
