Regardless of who gets credit for the quote about a "union of forgivers" (and your supplemental warning to not test the edges of forgiveness) it's worth talking about tonight as we make the pad see ew noodles for dinner. Mrs Deeve and I were introduced in the spring of 1981and finally went legit in 1990.
It's nice to have somebody whose fidelity and financial integrity is never in question, regardless of the occasional yelling as we carry each other through the endless kitchen and dining room paint project...

Sounds like you and the missus are "well yoked," as the Bible says.
I'm at 30 with my wife - second marriage for both of us.
My older boy is getting hitched next May and my younger one is moving in with his girlfriend of 6 years.
Hope they have good luck too.
Marriage is a rodeo: You either draw a good animal or you don't.
If you draw a rank one, you'll get bucked off for sure.
So just dust yourself off, spit out a couple teeth, and get back in the saddle.
This time hopefully a little wiser if not worse for wear.
