I love oud music! Have wanted an oud for years, but the only "safe" option is the Godin MultiOud. Never see ouds in stores and don't want to buy one online from some far flung country.

There are some on thomann... but i guess germany is a far flung country.

Sandy Bull used to do some excursions into oud music. He was a bit of a musical adventurer.
