Stupid DIY nonsense - don’t ask.
Hope it heals soon! It looks like they didn't need to pot it?
Oh man, that's a bummer, as we used to say. Heal soon, but remember, if you'e a righty, it's only your pickin' hand.
It’s called an avulsion where a fragment of bone pulls away from the main bone. It’s affecting my tendons.
I can with a bit of pain:
A play the guitar
B earn a living
C lift a pint glass
A Do DIY
B help with household chores much
C take out the bins
So it’s not all bad.
Sorry....been there....but here’s the good news...you can probably play!
Ouch! I hope you're fully healed soon.
Look on the bright side, at Lewisham they would have taken it off it the elbow ... looks like QEH work to me
Dang, heal fast and be sure to do good rehab!
It's not very often that the opportunity comes along to not be able to take out the trash or help with chores. You need to milk this for all it's worth.
I’d baby it for a bit.
Hope you get well quick.
have a quick recovery, and a painless one ,
Sorry man, heal up quickly!
Did it on my fretting (Left) hand, do the rehab, I didn't but okay now, well sometimes notice it in damp weather
Kings .... Both my parents died there. Mind you they never played telecasters. Speedy recovery young man.
Ouch! I’m glad it’s no worse than it is. I guess I’m of the age where friends start breaking wrists with some frequency, including one who broke both simultaneously in a fall on an icy drive. It has me thinking “don’t try to break your fall!” if I slip.
I hope ya heal soon and well.
Broke my left wrist about four years ago when I was knocked down while I was crossing the road by a car turning the wrong way coming out of a car park. I was plastered up from elbow to knuckle for five weeks.
The break healed up OK but I've never regained full movement of my left hand. I can no longer play barre chords as the joint just won't bend enough.
Been there, done that. I was out of action for a few weeks then I picked up the guitar again at home. It was my left hand so I found that playing was very good therapy and great exercise.
The broken wrist healed over time and I now have no problems with it.
I hope the same for you.
I hope you heal fast, man.
