I’m still aspiring to mediocrity, on both sax and guitar, as well as in life. Here’s a recording I just did that exposes that I am still on the path with much left to travel.

But it’s fun, so I keep at it.

(For the gear heads, this was played on a Yamaha YTS-82z, with Yanagisawa T992 bronze neck, Phil-Tone Sapphire 7* mouthpiece, and Legere 2.25 Reed)

    You're on your way!
I like saxophone. I've had a sax player in my bands for much of 40 years. It's my preferred side piece.

    I like it!
I'm looking for a sax player who can cover everything from Traffic to some guitar lines, and can learn by ear without charts. ;)

Thanks for the kind words, and re your search, I think perhaps the distance for me would be an obstacle (to say nothing of my lack of sufficient abilities) ‍:(;)
