I have never see this posted, so here is the instruction manual and pickguard diagram from a NOS widerange pickup. Recently acquired this pickup still in the box, never installed. The pickup is pristine and reads 10.42 Ohms.
The interesting part is the pot values as they are specific about the taper for the volume and tone. Volume is 1 meg, 30% log taper and tone is 1 meg, 5% log taper. They also specify how to adjust the pole pieces with the outer E's not to extend above the pickup cover.
Anyway, just trying to contribute to the general knowledge base, thanks.

Emerson CTS Pro pots are confirmed by Emerson to be 30% (J-curve).

This is great. @Telenator has some really great posts about the WRHBs in here if you want to learn more. He was making replicas with CuNiFe magnets for a while and is a wealth of information.

Yes, their 1 meg "Pro" pot is a j-curve audio taper, which matches the spec of the volume pot on the original Fenders. Any 3-way switch works, I like the CRL.

Interesting cover. Is it buffed unplated nickel silver?
