Ordered PRS SE Hollow Body last night

Warned wife if I put up for sell my Gibsons, I would be buying another as soon as I found just what I have wanted...a red burst prs se hollow body standard.

But was not going to pay $1000 for a new on. Found used red burst last night for $400 less out the door. Read a comparison with an ES335 and the guy say it was a coin toss.

The PRS is around 6lbs vs 9lbs and it smaller. And the ES335 is semi hollow. PRS is hollow with a block for bridge to anchor too. Hope this helped someone.

I have the earlier version SE semi hollow. I wouldn't put it in the same camp with an ES335 but it is a very nice guitar in it's own right. I wound some A2 PAF style pickups for it. No complaints at all. It is a keeper.

I've been coveting the Piezo version for the last couple months. Played one in a store a few weeks ago and just loved it. I haven't purchased a guitar since 2007 and I think that streak will end soon.
