    I'm not sure this qualifies as "finely finished," but it's kinda what I do. Nothing but the best here.

    It's just mocked up right now. I still need to buff it out again and build a neck (this one is going on another guitar.

    That is beautiful, creative, and exactly what "finely finished" ought to be about. Its not that hard to get a perfect finish with professional equipment, ideal environmental conditions and years of experience. Doing it in your garage with everyday materials, that's an accomplishment.

    Great job. Very inspiring. Please share your process with those of us who just do this for fun.

    Beautiful work!

    I've always gotten fantastic results with Rustoleum 2X and the matching clear lacquer. It is inexpensive and produces great results.
