Cool that is kinda what I'm after. I run the gain on the TT so that at max guitar volume I'm just under the crunch breakup, then kick in a pedal to push over the edge.

Demo'ed a guitar with a Tiny Terror. Ended walking out with the TT.

I was thinking of getting a 1x10 to make a grab and go rig. I was looking at some eminence speakers, the Ragin Cajun, Texas Heat, Cannabis Rex, Swamp Thang...etc.

What speaker would you choose? I have never owned a 10 before. I would like a big sounding ten. Something that could hang with a drummer if possible. I would also like a speaker that would pair well with this amp.

I really appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks!

1x12 is only way to go...minimum.

Perfect, I'll go for a 1x100 then! That will rawk!

I have a 1x12 with a Private Jack. I was thinking a 10" in a small cab would be easy to move. There are plenty of people who prefer 10's to 12's. I doubt that would describe me but I'm sure with the right speaker this would work. Plus 10's are popular in bass cabs so there must be 10's with decent low end response.

The Red Fang is 102db and the Ragin Cajun is 100db. The Red Fang is "British voiced" which may make it more compatible. Sound clips of the Ragin Cajun sound snarly which could be a very good thing too.

I worry about flash lighting. I used to own a Deville. I couldn't stand how directional it was. I heard the Fender special design speaker was a rebranded legend so I'll probably avoid those. They do review pretty favorably though. I would gladly sacrifice volume for dispersion.

    I now realize how I sounded. I'm on a 1x12 kick.

No problem! I wasn't put off, just being a jokester.

For the way I play, Fender combos work better for me. But man, I just fired up the Orange last nite and it reminded me why I kept it despite not needing a half stack. For a lead guitarist in a loud rock and roll band, it freakin kills...

You may be right. Perhaps my best bet is simply to find a smaller 1x12 cab and maybe even load it with an alnico or neodymium to keep it light.

Any suggestions on a good 12" for the TT? I heard the v30 is a good match.

My 1x12 has a G12h30; and I want another 1x12 combo or head/cab with V30 to go with. Can't decide on the amp.

Should state that I'm into the classic rock and metal tones.

'spose I should have stated the same thing. I have very diverse tastes and like all kinds of music but I was weened on Led Zeppelin and that influence is a permanent part of me. That's probably why I liked the TT so much. It just screamed classic rock.

Just chiming in to say the Tiny Terror is a vicious gateway amp. After lusting after Oranges for a long while, I bought one a few years ago with a 1x12 cab, upgraded to a Dual Terror and a 2x12, and now have an OR100 and a full stack (though I still play through the 2x12 more often than not). You've been warned.

Yeah; I'm there. Before I was on the stereo rig hunt, I was wicked close to getting a th30.

The only Orange I own so far is an OR15...bought new in 2012. I love the way it sounds a lot bigger than it really is! I have even gigged with it a couple times powering a 4x12.

Got a 1x10 cab for the TT. It's loaded with a Red Fang. This thing screams. Just aim at the neighbors and wait for the police to arrive!

Joined the club last xmas with the micro terror and 1x8, great for home, and could just about cut it at practice with drummer and bass! (And loud acoustic thru PA)!

Then I got a Blackstar htv112 1x12 loaded with a celestion seventy 80, needless to say it help the micro terror grow some balls!

I have gigged that rig at an outside gig and it kept its end up!

Has sufficed for me for the year(nearly), but I had some money come thru on a payout, so now have added to the Orange stable!

I was after a TT, even had a deal lined up, but it fell through!

Started searching again and got hold of a JR#4 terror head for £250!

Came yesterday, hooked it up thru my Blackstar, what a monster!!
    Unreal!!

    Love it!!

    Pre-Black Friday Pickup - MKIII

I've been looking at Orange for a while and decided to pull the trigger on a Rockerverb 100 MKIII. I had checked out all of the youtube vids I could find and after seeing Tom Quayle's review that sealed the deal.

I also picked up a Rivera RockCrusher Recording to help tame the beast, but the MKIII has an incredible MV on its own. This way I can have a line out.

Definitely loving this rig. I ordered it through Sweetwater and while initially thinking I wanted to 50 watt version they dropped the price on the 100 to match the 50, making it a no brainer at that point.
