Anyone on the forum had any experience with these amps? Please no lectures about tube amps. After all I left the Northwest to move to California 28 years ago and last week I even had liver and onions.

I think they are real good for what they cost. I have gigged them and used them in rehearsals. They are not a mid-scooped Fender sound, if that's what you are looking for.

I don't have the 20 but I use the 35RT as my main amp at home. I really like it. The clean tones are better than I expected. It plays well with the handful of pedals I have used with it. It sounds especially great with an EQ pedal and emits a surprising array of good tones.

I've played the 20RT and 35RT a bunch, unless money is really tight and that small size difference is really important I'd look at the 35RT for the larger speaker, it's worth it IMO. It's not an amp that has trouble playing quietly if that's an issue.

They are very reliable amps, where I used to go for lessons they had them in the rehearsal rooms and those amps got trashed by teenage players... they had lots of broken amps and the staff said the Orange amps held up best there.

They are very versatile as well.
