Greetings,
Since seeing Satriani a couple of days ago I have been researching how he sounds the way that he does.
This vid led me to his collaboration with amplitude to create a VST of his rig.
He stands by it, it's only $100, in the name of learning more about tone, why not?
I don't want to sound like him I just want to understand how he gets what he gets because, I believe my 6101 will make the sounds that I want.

So the question comes up, if I buy the VST, how do I play it live with NO COMPUTER?
No Kemper, FRactal ,... Cheapest way
I found the iRig stomp used for $150, that will load the VST and then run out to my amp.
What other options are around?
thnx

What a neat solution... I don't think I've ever seen anything else that comes close.

Excluding PCs likely limits your options to this device from IK.

Satch’s tone has always basically been a boosted Marshall. There are thousands of ways to get that sound without making it overly complicated.

THE QUESTION IS:
"How do you use a VST without a computer or expensive modelers to play live?"

You could get a portable modeler like NUX Mighty Plug or Boss Pocket GT or anything like that for cheap that you could go direct.

Sans computer, I 'think' iRig stomp is the only way unless there are other vst loaders out there - ?
