No opinions? Bad guitar?

Was well reviewed in UK's 'Guitarist' mag (may even be some youtube footage of their review) and the mirrors are optional!
FWIW, I recently saw one (and the dragon version) in a shop window. I thought it looked cheap and silly. I'd keep my money and, yes, I'm a fan of Page. Still, not every idea our heroes have are good ones.
I love my jimmy page mirror tele absolutely excellent
I got mine for exactly 2400 with tax although I’m sure they are cheaper on the used market
Also it’s nice to try them in person as neck thickness will vary a good bit
I played one at Guitar Rez and instantly coveted one.
I’d leave the mirrors off.
It’s a perfectly good slab board Tele reissue.
Exactly my experience. But since I got me a beautiful AV64, I don’t covet it anymore. Regardless: beautiful and great sounding. Mirrors can be used as frisbees.
I've played two different white ones and two different dragons. One of the dragons had a perfect action on it and the other had a deadspot in the higher frets. Similar experience with the white tele, one had perfect action one was way high on the on the higher strings.
I've seen Mint used on Reverb for $1750 plus tax for the white, and brand new for $1120 plus tax for the dragon. I'll scoop up the next dragon that comes through my favorite local shop.
I considered buying a used one and modifying with the top loader bridge and different pups but nothing will give me that neck profile and I can't seem to find an ash body with the rosewood fretboard.
Quick! - somebody use this thread as an excuse to slag Jimmy Page off!!! - the other one's gone a bit quiet now.
He was a… a… really a piece of … a great rock guitarist. (Sorry, couldn’t, the Stairway solo and the Black Dog solo kept popping up in my mind…)
So long as it’s just set-up problems, it makes no difference to me. I always factor in the cost of a good set-up when I buy. Or did. Now I anticipate that I’ll have to take some time to set the newcomer to my taste…
Just another Tele with an Artist price tag. Don't let the mirrors leave the case.
Asking for opinions on TDPRI. Brave.
The one I played here in SoCal was pretty average. At that price, it should be exceptional. It was a pretty average production guitar with a pretty paint job and unimpressive tone. I think a 2011-2012 Deluxe Tele with rosewood neck is a much better guitar tonally and playing wise and about half the price.
Haven’t seen the mirror Tele in person. But I played a Dragon and fell in love with it. Generally I don’t like a 7.5” radius - and I HATE gimmicky artwork, but this one didn’t feel like a 7.5 to me and I just kinda dig the art on this one for some reason. I only noticed the rounder radius when bending on the higher strings. I don’t know how similar the Dragon and Mirror Teles are, but if the Mirror is even close to the Dragon, it is one fine Tele.
Like everything about it except the slab neck. I prefer the neck on my AVRI 64.
PS. Oh, and not a fan of the mirrors.
Mexican Telecaster with optional mirrors. Save money - buy one without mirrors.
