Why can I now only open and read a thread in either tapatalk or Google Chrome? Is using these apps a new requirement here?

It’s working fine on Safari here.

It was weird to get that prompt today, as I do Google Chrome ( I have an Android)
for everything anyway. ( and I practically LIVE here on TDPRI!)

( I don't know much about this stuff, browsers, platforms)

I got that prompt today too! I looked for the 'go forth and multiply' option, but there wasn't one.

So I'll stick with using a browser (Brave) on both desktop and android.

I'm using Firefox on Android. When I select a thread to view, I get a dialog box that asks if I want to view the thread on Tapatalk or continue viewing with the browser.

This happens WITH EVERY LINK, EVERY TIME. I clicked the link in a browser because I want to view it in the browser.

I get it. Tapatalk can make the forum owner money for each user who signs up for a paid version of Tapatalk. IT'S BAD BUSINESS TO TRY TO CONVERT USERS BY ANNOYING THEM WITH EVERY THREAD THEY VIEW ON A MOBILE BROWSER. THAT DOESN'T MAKE USERS WANT TO USE THE FORUM.

Yeah, I’ve had enough of this. I get prompted all the time in Safari on my iPhone. I’ve had Tapatalk before and hated it, and I’m sick of seeing continuous prompts for it lately. Get rid of this now.

    Hey guys
Have we nixed the support for Tapatalk on the forum? I can’t connect through it anymore on here
    Cheers

Well that explains why it no longer works but it’s a shame as Tapatalk is a tidy little app.
