Tuned my second acoustic guitar to open G for the first time!
What would you folks recommend to learn - other than blues shuffles with slide (I'm already on it)?

The first I'm trying to learn is Dire Straits Romeo and Juliet, I like it a lot.
Anything else out there you play?

Great for Stones, though some are in other open tunings. Gimme Shelter, capoed up a bit works for me. And Honky Tonk Woman, Brown Sugar and Start Me Up are in G

Try some Zeppelin. When the Levee Breaks is an easy win. Also In My Time Of Dying

Status Quo, Down Down just falls into place nicely in open G

Jealous Again - Black Crowes, fun song to play.
I love the sound of that band , they are an arcade of classic amps pedals and instruments .
Stuck in the middle with you ... can be fun in Open G.
ever since that scene with Mr. White and his straight razor... YAAAAAAH!!! Thank you, no, I'll politely pass.

<Edit> I played it for years with E and A tuned to G. . . still sounded great.

You might look into Hawaiian slack key guitar music. I would like to point out that a song is not "in" a tuning.
