Keep the Epiphone in the middle
I own over a dozen electric guitars. Three seems very light. You need at least another 3-10 more guitars before claiming you have too many. Of course, if you are having financial difficulties, then you might need to sell one. If you just want one for simplicity, then go for the one that compels you to play music the most. Better to have a guitar that is inspiring to play. Pick your favorite. I could go down to three from my collection, but I don't want to nor need to.
Get a Strat.
My best friend bought his P.R.S. new in 97. I believe he only owns other guitars because no serious player has just one. However, he's used that P.R.S. for 99.9% of the notes he's played since 97. I kind of envy having found his guitar "soulmate".
However, I'm not even looking for my guitar soulmate. Apparently I'm on a mission to have owned every guitar ever made.
I think I could live with 4, but why?
N+1 until N+1=Partner leaving you.
At this point N-1 for indeterminate period of time until N+1 can be applied.
How is that gonna make you happier??
What is this singular guitar theory you speak of ? the concept is flawed and I am not even sure you can say that here.
Why would you have one guitar? Are you in jail? I need at least two in my COFFIN.
Ric 12-stringer. Playing doesn’t get easier than that.
People generally have a set happiness level. Even after loosing a limb, they are sad for a bit, but then return to as happy as they were. So one guitar, two guitar, you'll probably be just as happy either way. Just as long as, ya know, actually pick up and play one of them once in a while.
If I understand you correctly I just need to remove all my limbs to be as happy as ever, eventually?
Can I check your maths on this calculation?
One guitar? Heartbreak!
I have 2 guitars. One of them has been in its case under my bed for 3 years now.
Get a 4-way switch for the Tele and you have all the tones you'll ever need. Then you can dump the others.
That would be a good switch
I had a bunch of guitars. I thought it was ridiculous because you don't get to play all of them. I kept my best versatile one and a backup. Sold everything else.
But... I'm GAS'ing for this Chinese headless guitar because I didn't have one before.
You can only play one at a time ... But one of each type is good for variety ...
The Problem is this: You don't have enough guitars.
You don't have enough Amplifiers either but, that is another problem.
Does anyone feel obliged to restrict themselves to 1 pair of shoes?
If my family were starving I would not own a guitar or spare shoes. They are ok, so I have trainers, boots, sandals, dress shoes... Why shouldn't I?
Would you tell a billionaire who loves cars he should own just 1?
I know this is the Telecaster Forum page
But for me if I'm only having one guitar it's a Stratocaster stock, with a whammy bar just to me the perfect electric guitar
Just feel like with a clean Fender amp and a couple distortion pedals you can do anything you want with a Stratocaster
