Thankfully no one I work with has given me grief about it
My hair has gone in the opposite direction.
I've been cutting my own hair, for two decades. I still miss bits, when I hurry the process but generally....practice makes perfect-ish.
You look like a stubbly 1-ball on a pool table!
Exactly what happens to me when I forget to check with a small hand mirror...
Crop circles? Those aliens are mean ones...
Hey... I mean...George Clooney's big reveal today was that he uses a flowbee.
Been cutting my own hair for decades now. I work on the principle that if I can’t see it, it’s OK!
Nothing a hat won't cover LOL
Been there, done that
I miss my hairdresser, but my shelter-in-place step daughter does a great job out in her backyard ... both wearing masks. Not sure how this will go in a couple feet of snow, so she just whacked a lot of hair off for an extended period.
Maybe a Flowbie like Clooney. I wonder how many watts they use? When living off the grid, we need to consider these things.
i think we all have...there are worse things than that
living alone...its a blessing and a curse...no one to moan at you...no one to moan at...cold feet or arse at night...talking to ones self...then argueing about it with the mirror...licking the wallpaper as you quietly go bonkers....ignoring the washing up/hoovering etc...and not giving a monkeys...having to do your own shopping
almost choking to death on a steak butty..(it happened..once i knew i wasnt dead..finished butty....then got concerned about it later.scary...)
i cut my own hair...shoulder length now...beard off...face masks and whiskers dont mix
You’ll get better at it with practice
I too, have been cutting my hair for years now. On occasion, I'll leave a racing strip...or miss a few. No one ever tells me. I usually find it days later. Oh well.
I do miss the barber shop atmosphere sometimes. A neat place to hang out and connect with people. #2020
I’m bald on top, have been for about 30 years. I let it get quite long once, maybe an inch or so. I started to cut it with the electric shears on zero, I did the front on the left and the back on the right and then they broke...
My kids had a couple mates round and they all wanted breakfast. I abandoned the haircut and made pancakes. Not a word was said. Maybe they didn’t notice or they were just too polite...
Anyway, I managed to get them working again but I’ve kept a spare set since. Be warned, they’ve got to break sometime
The atmosphere of Bad Dog Cafe has a lot of similarities to a barber shop. A lot of balding old men, indulging in idleness, talking about stuff. The discourse is better here, because the smutty talk and politics are mostly avoided.
It looks ok. I live alone now but I like Cost Cutters and I like their dandy phone app.
I just shave the sides in the summer for a mohawkadour
...the rest of the year I let it grow it out.
The timing works out perfectly
