Sorry I hate the Crex. I had one couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. Another great speaker is the Celestion Vintage 30. And it fits.

    a) what speaker is that in it? C12K?
    b) what do you want different in the sound?

Of your choices I would try the C Rex. Of my choices I would try a Emi GA SC64 or a 1258

    1. Eminence Cannabis Rex Maybe, not everyone likes them, they can mellow out a harsh amp though.
    2. Eminence Texas Heat I didn't like mine. Loud, but a bit harsh. Had some note fade that crackled just as the note dies. Just a hint of it though. If you want this type get a Red, White and Blues.
    3. Celestion Creamback Nice speaker, anything along the G12-65 line doesn't last with me but many like them. I think they are too mid scooped for me maybe.
    4. Jensen P12R Definitely not. Weak thin sounding speaker with early break up.

You quoted a post of mine from another thread about the Fender Champion 20. Had nothing to do with a Blues Jr.

Of that bunch, the Rex would be my choice. The juniors need a little more bass and less efficiency to sound really good. I had a Swamp Thing in one Blues Jr. that I liked and yes, even shoved a vintage Altec-Lansing 417 in another one....sounded great, but doesn't really fit the cabinet.

FWIW.. I don't have a BJ (never had one for that matter..), but do have the ET65 in a custom pine box I made. I also would give that a look. The stock Fender (Eminence made) speakers are not as potent. The efficiency rating of the ET65 is about 99.5db, I doubt the Fender generic speaker gets above about 96db. In other words, the ET65 will be noticeably louder (and hopefully provide the sound/tone you are looking for). I was also spying the G12C/S -- but haven't picked one up..yet.
Sadly, it looks like WGS raised their prices recently. The ET65 is $110 direct from WGS now (but incl. free shipping).
