In a nutshell, with a push pull to switch the center lug of the volume pot out. I have found the fezz parka to be superior for pushing an amp, but the stock wiring has better cleans imo. They are quite different, sounds but all are quite good. So now the Bajas 6 stock sounds will be 12. I plan to make the push/pull tone pot a "no load" as well.:D

I find the original assertion to be moot. I would never exist in a world where I could only own one guitar.

What a mean spirited question to ask a group of people such as ourselves.

ES-335...if you're going to be a stickler about it. ;)

The only electric I own: a 1996 '52 AVRI, beat to heck and heavily modified. I can play anything I want on her, and bought her new in 1997.

72 Telecaster Deluxe... An original (mines a re-issue)... with the individual Volume/Tone controls for individual pups it's the best of all worlds. PLus it's a good "tough" guitar that can take the abuse of constant gigging (My RI is currently my ONLY electric rig while I wait on an original 72 Deluxe to show itself to me).

    Cheers

Total LOGIC FAIL... Sorry, but odds are overwhelmingly against you "not sounding like anyone else"... And I HIGHLY doubt there's a form of music out there that's named after you.

    Cheers

    I can't choose. I have 4 main guitars:
    Sweetwood Comet Superlite
    Gibson Johnny A Signature
    Fender Nocaster
Gibson SG Standard - Customized to the Nth power

I guess the SG has the most history so I'd have to go with that.

Today it's the Johnny A. Standard. Only had it since yesterday. Unreal guitar.

Crazy expensive...but I got this off Craigslist for less than a 1/4 of what they sell for in the shops! Needs a little cosmetic attention but dang near plays itself. I absolutely love this guitar.

I'm actually trying to get down to one guitar, so this is relevant.

If I could have a billion guitars, I still would probably only want three: a tele, a strat and a 335. The tele and 335 are actually closer in tone and application IMO than the strat/tele or strat/335. As much as I love 335s, you are STUCK with two humbuckers forever. With a tele, you can swap pickups to get a wide variety of tones.

Technically, the strat is most versatile in this regard because the bridge pickup isn't "fenced in" by a tele bridge piece, but I like the look of teles so much more that it's worth it!

I do have a one guitar limit. It's called being poor. :(

The only guitars I GAS for are Telecasters and Esquires and when it gets too much for me I just pick up my own and realise it does everything I need it to and more. Anything else would just be a commodity.

Delay Pedals and Amps on the other hand...
