I know what you mean but I'd call that more "death by overplay" than the fault of the band. In fact, I think most of the bands listed are like that. At least for me.

Fortunately, in this day and age, you really don't have to listen to anything that you do not want to listen to. Unless of course you go to a sports bar or something and the music is inexplicably programmed for the 11-17 female demographic, which seems to be the norm in 2018. Same with Home Depot where the clientele is overwhelming male and over 25 and the music is katie perry, miley cyrus and all that sort of crap.

The Home Depots I have visited don't play music. Lucky me I guess.

This inspired me to listen to that Pat Metheny album. That’s one thing I never want to hear again. That, and Nickelback.

I'm interpreting this as bands that you inevitably hear because they get played a lot on the radio or on TV adverts rather than bands you just dislike. On that basis:
    1) Queen
    2) Queen
    3) Queen

Feel free to substitute ABBA and / or Coldplay for any or all of the above.

    Hollywood Vampires.
Watching Johnny Depp act like a rock star is laughable at best. I cant take it seriously.

Billy Joel for sure. He has a few good songs, and the rest I never need to hear again.

Aerosmith. Their early rockers are still good, but all they play of the old stuff is Dream On and Walk This Way. Mostly their ****ty adult contempo stuff gets played.

The Doors. Never liked them. Tolerated some of their stuff. Morrison is the classic lounge singer.

    I'm sure there is more...

I didn’t know you could pick bands that don’t get actual airtime.
Seems half the band mentionned nobody ever ears them anyways as they don’t get any airtime , so what’s the point. But hey, everybody is free to hate.
Maybe I live in a bubble.
Just as an example, someone mentionned Duran Duran, when was the last time anyone ever heard them, 20 years ago?
    Or is it my bubble

I know! Sounds absolutely NOTHING like the Little River Band I grew up hating so much. To think they could have used their powers for good instead of evil!
