One that gets me is the difference between a "wrap" and a burrito...

Apparently the difference is the wrap is open on one end, and the burrito is closed on both.

Bojangles infuriated me one day when I ordered a chicken "wrap" that exploded honey mustard all over my lap, because they failed to close up one end.

The wrap and burrito difference really puzzles me.

Then your stuck with two pieces of bread and no sandwich for you.
The butter is the glue that binds the sandwich. It's in the fine print.

Some like to push the boundaries, crust off, no butter etc.
Lawbreakers the lot of them.

So you are assembling the Turkey sandwich with two slices of bread standing on edge?

I mean a slice of bread if traditionally sliced into a rectangle or square has both a major and minor axis.

The major axis being horizontal, the minor vertical.

I'd say you want the contents of the sandwich to be on the major axis, thus placing the contents squarely over the largest surface area of the bread.

Dammit I want a sandwich now!

The one that gets me is the difference between a soft taco and a fajita.

One person at the table orders a soft taco with grilled chicken. The other person order grilled chicken fajitas. They both get the same thing, it's just that the person who ordered the fajitas has to do all the assembly work themselves.

Anything, anything would be better than that horrible looking thing where people order a hamburger wrapped in a big piece of lettuce. No bun? I mean NO BUN? Sheesh.

If you pour milk into cereal... is the milk a beverage, a broth, or a sauce?

Isn't it awfully early to be drinking? Oh, I forgot you're in Colorado!

Yea kinda silly.... the only difference is the seasoning. That's pretty much it.

And I dont think fajitas unlike tacos are supposed to be served in a corn tortilla.... should be flour whereas a taco could be both.

Since tomatoes are technically a fruit, doesn't that mean that ketchup is actually a smoothie?

Late to this one. It's a sandwich, but it's not really a full sandwich like a burger, or a mannerly-proper sandwich like a reuben.

Kind of like a chevy sprint is a car, but if you said "would you like to rent a car", the person responding wouldn't say "yes, I'd love a comfortable chevy sprint for a few day"

"would you like a sandwich?"

if that was met with handing over a hotdog, I'd have to say "you got me. Not what I was expecting, but you've got me on a technicality".

It is the humpback liner of doubles in a world of hard it balls to the gap.

Only if you are looking at a hotdog in base form... as in weenie on bun.

In that case it's not fair to compare it to a reuben... because a Reuben isn't a Reuben without kraut and thousand island and swiss.

So by all intents they are equals.

A Rueben sandwich followed by a hot dog, now that makes sense. I know that's not what you said, but that's what I heard. Does that make sense?

You're on the mark with that, hadn't thought about it. Bacon or chili or both will bring the hot dog up from rusty k-car to mid-size GM platform bench-seater with v6.

Add a little mustard and onion and that's like getting imitation leather seats and and side passenger airbags...lol
